Sutton Abinger is a village and parish near Dorking, Surrey. Neighbouring villages include Abinger Hammer and Abinger Common. It lies on the B2126. The nearest railway station is at Gomshall. The area has been inhabited for a long time with a mesolithic burial site on the south east of the village. There is also evidence of strip farming.[2]

The village pub is called "The Volunteer" which is linked to the Hall and Woodhouse brewery. To the north of the village is Oxmoor Copse which is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The whole area is within the Surrey Hills.

A significant local building is Fulvens House which also lies to the north of the village[3][4] which may date back to 1628.

Actress Prunella Scales is a native of the village.
